“A PRIMER ON DESIGN PROFESSIONALS IN NEW YORK” TO BE PRESENTED APRIL 26

Friday, 27 of April , 2012

Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) Construction Law committee member, Attorney John Caravella, will present:  “A Primer on Design Professionals in New York” at the NCBA committee meeting this Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.  Mr. Caravella represents architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and owners in all phases of contract preparation, litigation, and arbitration, and has been appointed to the Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals of the American Arbitration Association.

This program includes a discussion of how owners, contractors, and design professionals interact and the role that counsel plays in working with each of them.
Mr. Caravella has designed this program specifically in response to requests from Construction Law committee members for an overview of this area.   NCBA members have expressed an interest at learning more about construction drawings, plans, specs and other documents.  John’s background as a former practicing project architect makes him well-suited to present this topic.
This program has been approved for CLE credit.  The cost to attend for NCBA Members is $30. There will be no charge for DOMUS Scholar Circle Members. For more information on the meeting, visit https://www.nassaubar.org/Calendars/other_meetings.aspx.
